This defies logic. If you are going to use "the cloud" to send your e-mail, why not use a cloud e-mail service? Your general-purpose VPS surely has the potential to create long-term administration and security headaches.

comment Server Reboot Script - No Credentials
Why haven't you posted a question about the underlying issue? It's probably interesting. My doctor wouldn't be amused if I asked her for a way to keep the blood stains off my bed. She would want to find out why I was bleeding.

comment ssh, telnet to AWS EC2 instance time out
Without more details (security group configuration details/screenshot, instance configuration details/screenshot specifying the security group selected, and the exact command that you're using to connect), all we can do is speculate.

comment XP users can unlock screen after account lockout
By the way, it is absolutely not logical to allow a scenario wherein it is possible for an unauthorized user to have unlimited attempts to guess a password. The entire point of lockout policies is to limit the number of attempts at guessing a user's password.

comment Most users can access my site but many others cant
Do you have a specific example of a user that cannot reach your site? Have any changes been made in the past week? Are the users clicking on a known good link or attempting to enter your domain name, which has a high probability of user error? If the latter, have they sent you browser screenshots? DNS results appear to be consistent, so that is unlikely to be your problem unless the IP address has changed recently and some users have stale results cached.

comment Distinguishing spam from google servers
Be sure to end your SPF record with "-all" instead of "~all" unless you have a really good reason to expect potentially valid mail to come from unlisted servers.

comment Distinguishing spam from google servers
Yes. If there's no SPF record including "_spf.google.com", then it's not a properly configured Google Apps domain. Just implement SPF lookups and you'll be fine.
