comment Catching url parameters( “?=” or “&=” ) with Apache LocationMatch
I know it looks wrong, but all I need to do is hide the information that is generated when that specific parameter is set. fake directory structure sounds like the way to go

comment Excluding the nagios directory from Basic Auth that is set for the root directory
That did it! Thanks, taking note on the Location scope vs Directory.

comment Cannot access gitosis repository from local machine. gets “Permission denied (publickey).”
Thanks, your additional information provided me with the information I needed. The permission for post-update was not set to be executable. I had seen this in some of the tutorials, but mistakenly set post-commit to executable, and not post-update. Anyway, you saved the week-end for me, thanks a lot.

authorized_keys only contain the public key that was used to initialize gitosis, will look into the sshd logs

But wouldn't that give users added to the authorized_keys login access to the entire server via SSH? I only want them to be able to use git, and not access to the whole server

ssh-add -L gave me The agent has no identities. Shouldn't adding the public keys to the keydir directory in the gitosis-admin repos and pushing it make it able to access through the gitosis account?

comment How to find source files for things installed via yum on CentOS
The wanted rpms where from rpmforge but /var/cache/yum/rpmforge/pachages where empty. However I was able to find many rpms for the some base rpms. Thank you

it seems to be working while the IP is correct(before another IP is assinged for the DDNS). I have added an example and more description
