No. Could find this line in /etc/apache2/httpd.conf. Also there is no libphp5.so on my system.

Yes it's a little old machine but not very old. I tried "modprobe amp" which returned "FATAl: Error inserting apm (/lib/modules/2.6.26-2-686/kernel/arch/x86/kernel/apm.ko): No such device". Problem still persists.

comment How to install grub on a completely empty hard drive?
Dan, actually I want to embed my code in GRUB's code (as its opensource) which will copy data sector by sector from one partition to another when system boots up. I was just trying to use as much less space of my hard drive as possible by just installing GRUB but I have installed Linux now so installing GRUB all alone not needed anymore. Thanks a lot for your help. :) If you know which files of the source code of GRUB may be helpful for me and if you find some time it may turn out useful for me.

comment GRUB for windows while not having a Linux root partition?
Should that small partition be mounted as root? as I tried installing GRUB to FAT but it returned an Error: No Root partition available. I used the 'Install Bootloader' tool I found in the repair section of SuSE 11.0 DVD

comment Only one primary partition can be “active”, What about logical drive?
I made partitions with the help of Partitioning Tool in the SuSE DVD and then installed Windows 7 to a logical drive.
