comment Mount Exchange 2010 EDB to Exchange 2013
Sorry you are of course correct. Obviously ahead of myself, aware that SP3 is on the way. My comments would obviously not help answer this question but it does seem a lot of effort just to get 2013 now rather than wait and migrate properly. But, that is not the focus of your question :-)

Why are you not doing a proper migration? If all the users are the same - there are AD migration tools and if you deploy 2013 alongside Exchange 2010 you can do live mailbox migrations...

comment Citrix Error: Your user profile was not loaded correctly
It's not clear - do all your users get this error, all the time? Or just occasionally? Sounds like something is screwing with the permissions on the TSprofile such that Citrix can't load it

Are you using the same DNS on this server? I am not clear what we're talking about (whether this is a VM or physical server). Can you ping ccwmlab40.mydom?

comment VPN vs. Direct Access in Server 2008 R2
Please describe the two networks - are they geographically separate, what's the connectivity, hardware like? DirectAccess is great but has high requirements. Client VPNs can be annoying. A site-to-site VPN between two routers may be more what you're after.

comment Exchange server listening on port 25 but clients dont recieve emails
Nothing that wrong with SBS. For small businesses it works a treat, and its certainly a lot cheaper in terms of licenses. Just have to make sure you give it enough resource. SBS2011 now needs minimum 12GB RAM and more if you have more users..
