comment NTPD on RedHat ES4 not synching to Win2K3 domain controler
Have you tried using wireshark to examine the network traffic? Maybe something else weird is going on?

Just curious, why not upgrade to Asterisk 1.6?

comment Problems with DDR2 800 in HS21 blades?
The memory worked fine when I had a single quad core package in the blade, it started throwing errors when I added a second quad core package. The memory works fine in another blade with a single dual core package. I just checked, the CAS timing is the same between the 800 and 667 DIMMs. Could the 800 DIMMs produce more heat or something? It seems like it might be a heat problem.

comment What are the choices for iSCSI target support for Linux?
I just got a second switch module, should be fun to use that for iSCSI. Thanks for the info!

Each blade has 2 NIC, but at the moment I only have access to one. I may end up acquiring a second switch module, that would give me access to both NICs. But, this is purely for my own entertaining. The BladeCenter is running at home in my apartment. I'm just interested in making it work, multipath is not necessary.

Why stick with SAS for disk intensive work?

comment On a linux server how do you use multiple terminals over a single ssh connection?
The Linux server doesn't need to have X11 to run graphical applications that show up on your local desktop. Also, the Cygwin X-Server works great for running things like Firefox from my home Linux box (without X running on my home box) and they show up just fine on my local Windows laptop.

Nah, I got this off of ebay, zero support included. It was very cheap though.
