I'm a Solution Architect with a passion for Agile.

I used to actively blog, and I also started Morphological Software Solutions Limited as a part-time side project, and also as a possible full-time venture for the future; check out my open source CMS / ASP.NET Framework on CodePlex: http://morphfolia.codeplex.com and Shell for RoboCopy called RoboMojo.

I'm co-lead and co-founder of the Wellington Solution Architects Forum, and an active member of the Wellington chapter of the Agile Professionals Network.

You can find out more about me on LinkedIn (http://nz.linkedin.com/in/adriankearns).

+1 - Thanks fergNab, I hadn't consider de-duping. You'd think Google wouldn't be a "Challenger" eh?

From a usability perspective; using a font selection drop-down that's populated with more fonts than you need isn't helpful. At a guess I'd only use around %5 (max) of the ones installed (by default) on my machine.

Thanks. I was mainly thinking of the impact on end-user machines but it occurred to me that there might be specific issues on servers. Any idea how you'd identify fonts used by the system (or should I post that as a separate question)?

Thanks - I guess I'm a bit screwed then, I definatley don't have the sixth sense as far as sizing goes! I come from a software development background not an infrastructure one. I assume I just need to spend lots of time on projects - and pay special attention to sizing discussions, etc.
