comment Exchange 2007 not delivering to primary MX of one domain
@TimArmstrong-Ooi These aren't my MX records. They are for a domain I'm trying to send to.

My DNS server is a Windows 2008 r2 server with IPv6 enabled. If I only have IPv4 IPs from my ISP should I be disabling AAAA records on my DNS server?

I reviewed the mx records for the domain in question. I see that the IPv6 and IPv4 both have a priority of 5. I don't have much of an understanding of IPv6. My ISP has only given me IPv4 addresses. How would my IPv4 public addresses connect to a IPv6 SMTP server?

comment Is there a way to refresh computer group membership without rebooting?
In my experience restarting the service had no effect on the group membership.

I did some testing on the file locking issue. I found that PDFs would lock even without write access but other file types wouldn't.

I'm thinking restarting the System Attendant service is a good first step but I'm not sure if that will impact the existing users. Event ID 9385 Microsoft Exchange System Attendant failed to read the membership of the universal security group '/dc=local/dc=company/ou=Microsoft Exchange Security Groups/cn=Exchange Servers'; the error code was '8007203a'. The problem might be that the Microsoft Exchange System Attendant does not have permission to read the membership of the group.

Watch out when you start getting into the 3000VA UPS units as you'll likely need to bring in a higher amp line with a different NEMA connecter (at least in the US).

You pay a premium for APC. You may want to check out other brands for cost savings. I don't have as much experience with other brands but I certainly have had problems with APC. I love the irony that the very device that is intended to keep your server up can wind up taking it down.
