What is the difference between the “Authenticated User” and “user” groups in windows server 2008 (or 2003)? So What I understood is "Authenticated Users" are automatically created, when ever any user in logs in the domain or locally (ESpennilsen says "not locally") first time. By default it is a subset of the "users" group. While "Users" group is created by the administrator by manually adding users. Thanks |
