How does a geographically distributed web app handle stored data? Very interresting article indeed. I've managed to overlook this. Thank you for posting this! However, it highlights only a single portion of the problem (as you mentioned), time syncronicity. This solution is about how syncronized data is sorted when dealing with many data centers (clustered farms). It doesn't solve the problem of synchronizing data between different data centers. |

Is there a Windows 7 compatible IPSec VPN client that allows protocol and port specific rules? I seem to have forgotten to mention one important piece of information: I need aggressive mode which rules out the built-in IPSec in Windows 7. (If I understand it correctly that it doesn't support.) It is during Phase 2 negotiations the rules need to mirror the gateway rules. I.e. Protocol and port must match otherwise the gateway doesn't accept the connection You are right about the filters though |

Is there a Windows 7 compatible IPSec VPN client that allows protocol and port specific rules? I've seen that source and no it's not SoftRemote that will be out in Q4 but rather QuickSec. There is no ETA on SoftRemote. While they tested serveral clients I haven't found a single Windows 7 IPSec client that meets my requirements. |

Is there a Windows 7 compatible IPSec VPN client that allows protocol and port specific rules? I sure will. Might also put this up with a bounty if nothing comes up. |
