revised systemd ExecStartPost doesn't look to be called
Unlike github's markdown variant, three backticks do not a blockquote make.

comment systemd ExecStartPost doesn't look to be called
The post you link points out that the ordering is inverted in the status output, not that it's actually temporally inverse. ExecStartPre happens before ExecStart, and ExecStartPost happens after.

comment Passing free-form commands to Ansible using complex-args form
Does presence of args prevents k=v pairs from being parsed out from command, should any exist? (If so, this addresses the ambiguity cleanly; otherwise, it would seem to still exist).

comment How to set a per-user resolv.conf
You can have a setuid program that applies this, and then drops permissions back down to the account of the user in question, assuming a fair bit of auditing and defensive programming. :)

...indeed, it looks like sfdisk -R was removed somewhere between util-linux 2.24.2 and 2.26.1

comment How do I find the UUID of a filesystem
Correct usage appears to be -i1 or -i 1, as opposed to -i:1, with sgdisk 1.0.1.

comment What does an empty AUTH EHLO SMTP response mean with MS Exchange?
If folks reach this question on account of a AuthenticationFailedException javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: No authentication mechansims supported by both server and client -- the easy workaround is to ensure that the mail.smtp.auth property is false, and thus not attempt to authenticate in a scenario where the server won't accept it.

Much improved. :)

comment Why does it take tens of seconds to get a shell prompt?
Another one I've seen block for a substantial while is attempted GSSAPI authentication (if not turned off on either the SSH client or server config). Using a full-system tracing tool such as sysdig is probably the best silver bullet available to get to the bottom of this kind of cross-concern issue.

comment Why does it take tens of seconds to get a shell prompt?
True if and only if the issue happens after the remote session is opened. Many of the potential causes are during SSH handshake and authentication.

comment Why does it take tens of seconds to get a shell prompt?
Often this is GSSAPI authentication trying to occur (which, if you're not a Kerberos shop, is likely completely useless). Other times, it's DNS reverse lookups.
