comment LAN speeds and firewall/switch connections
Thank you. Actually checking the server connection info, I was able to see that the link was only 100 mbps. Even though it shouldn't be an issue with so few users, it's still nice to know... thanks!

May I ask who the vendor was? Hopefully we haven't made the same mistake :/

Have you had issues with latency? Thanks for the reply.

QoS is definitely going to be part of the solution regardless of which option we go with. Is latency a result of clogged pipes, or just the way of life when dealing with cable? Thanks!

thanks for the tip! For now, though, everything seems to be working fine (default wallpapers), so I'm inclined to leave well-enough alone. But, when I need to restore one of the machines, or add new ones I will come back to this if it's still not working. Thanks again.

Nope. I tried both changing each line of exports to fsid=1, fsid=2 respectively and fsid=0, fsid=1 respectively and I get Operation not permitted errors.

I still get a folder not found error.mount.nfs4: 192.168.200.201:/var/shared/folder1 failed, reason given by server: No such file or directory Also get: 'vers=4' is not supported. Use '-t nfs4' instead. Thanks!
