Customising Windows 8 Start Screen Tiles but if the user has installed apps, customised their own start screen won't this remove all the settings that they have set? Was more hoping for a way just to inject 1 into the far right of the start screen. |

Deploying Windows via SCCM 2012 OSD Wireless OK, we modified the install.wim file using DISM to include the xml configuration file for the wireless that we are connecting to. Using 2 Command line sequences after Windows has deployed we can add this profile and then connect to it. Teh machine can now see the server again. We can then run the domain join task and voila domain joined machine over OSD via wireless. |

Put files on deployed PC's HDD during SCCM2012 OSD I get that but non technical people are not going to sit and read through all that. Put two machines side by side and show them, an exact task sequence running over ethernet and over wireless and no-one can't understand that. |

Put files on deployed PC's HDD during SCCM2012 OSD It's an evaluation, just an evaluation. I appreciate the advice but we have to look at these things. I aggree that ethernet imaging is miles easier, it is also faster, without doubt, but we need to show evidence of this and alternatives. |

Deploying Windows via SCCM 2012 OSD Wireless Hi Harold, have you ever passed a file over during OSD before? If I can pass the Wirelessconfig.xml over then I can use NETSH WLAN CONNECT to initiate the wireless connection. |
