Internet Connection Sharing from multiple computers ICS, in my personal experience, is a major pain in the ass and you'd be better off getting a basic switch, plugging one link into your adsl router and the other links into your machines. |

Creating my Win 8 machine into a network server You mean how can you get the sites onto the machine in the first place? Depending on what you need you could set permissions on the inetpub or wwwroot folder, or you could set up a FTP server. You'll also run into the typical "desktop OS as a server" file share/accessing issues when using this sort of thing. |
