comment Instructions for pushing image from server on a local network
WDS is fairly easy to set up, as long as you have a domain and you control the DHCP servers. I'd way this is the way to go (although I'd highly, HIGHLY suggest you start upgrading them to Windows 7).

comment Start up a tablet PC per schedule
...and considering these tablets don't have a Ethernet NIC and Wake-On-Wireless-LAN is very rare, hibernation is probably a better bet.

Are you syspreping the machine before you capture it? or are you not even PXE-booting to get to that point.

comment RAID 5 30TB File storage - filesystem and strip size on large files
What disk sizes and speeds? Anything over 2TB you're not gonna want RAID5, more like RAID6.

comment Hyper-V 'standalone' (on baremetal) with RHEL/CentOS 6.x guest VM
There are two versions of Hyper-V. One, as you say, is a role that can be added to any normal Server 2012 install, and the other is a baremetal install. The stand-alone .iso (as a trial) can be downloaded from TechNet here.

comment efficient, simple ‘lazy’ differential FTP upload tool? (i.e. for web dev workflows)
FileZilla client has some command-line support. You could try that. However, this question is classed as shopping and will likely be closed shortly.

comment Windows server 2003 R2 supported guest operating system
For the love of $deity, don't use VB in production. Can't you install 2012 on the server over 2003 and then use Hyper-V in 2012?

comment Using eSATA or USB to permanently connect a SATA drive for backup/recovery purposes
The drives themselves will be readable, it's the actual caddies you're likely to run into issues with.

I never had any luck with NAT. I prefer Bridged or Internal.

comment Any good template to write down server access details?
For password management I'd suggest something like KeePass.

comment Any good template to write down server access details?
Do you mean access logs (like user x accessed server y at day z for 20 minutes) or simply password management?

comment Apache2 server (behind Zyxel USG 100 NAT/Firewall) with vhost does not log real clients ip addresses
Yes, please. New users might have to wait a bit before answering their own question, but it's better if you post the answer as...well, an answer.

Rather than putting the answer in the question it's OK to self-answer once you have an answer.

+1 for WSUS Offline. Probably the best bet for this situation.

comment Find and update all windows drivers silently from a network share
HP has software called HP SSM - HP System Software Manager. It allows you to select your computer hardware and OS then lets you download the drivers and software needed for the system to a shared folder. The client then can be run on the machine to update the nessecary files. You could see if Dell does anything of the same.

comment What happens when one of the 2 DC's goes down
I don't know if this a scenario question or an actual production network, but it's generally bad practise to put anything but the Domain Controller role on a DC. It's also bad SF practise to ask "please provide teh tutorial". If you have looked for an answer and need help clarifying it, that's fine, but asking users to do everything isn't quite fair.
