@Rqomey, the whole point is that I don't have to encrypt my history as my passwords do not show up in my .bash_history because they are hidden by aliases or functions. In it you see things like MYsql < garbagecollect.sql instead of mysql -uadmin -psecret < garbagecollect.sql
