NOTE TO ALL: Everyone should have some form of contact info in their profiles. If nothing else, it is respectful to the people who answer your questions to allow them to tweet you to say, "I gave you a rock'n answer a few weeks ago, but you haven't given any feedback. Did it work for you?" or "Hey there are comments on your question asking for more details, but you are not giving us what we need to help you properly."

No offense, but I hope there is something you guys are overlooking. I'm going to leave this open a little longer. What I have is a working terminal (ssh connection), but I have a limited (possibly chrooted) shell.

1. Is it a requirement for you to use PHPMyAdmin? If it is I will write some PHPMyAdmin specific instructions for you. 2. From PHPMyAdmin if you try to "select * from mysql.user limit 1;" do you get results or an error.

I meant tinker as in: You brake something by exercising the generous freedom we give. Then it takes you 3 days to get any work done. Meanwhile everyone else has to pick up the slack. Edit made.
