It is recognised in the removable SR of the host, I assign it to the guest as a local storage in the guest.

original spec was to also carry phone over the same connector. Remember voice calls were still a big feature of office life when UTP-ethernet was designed

@Zoredache - it was a few years ago, the RDP client on XP couldn't do localhost.

@Zoredache - Thanks, looks like tunneling port 443 over SSH is pretty simple. I seem to remember it being possible with VNC but not with RDP - but that might be an old issue.

It wasn't so much the traffic I was concerned about. If there was a backdoor discovered or their password store got hacked and a script went after every LogMeIn client on the net.

@Zoredache - but on windows you need a Gui to fix a lot of stuff. I'm a programmer with sysadm dumped on me, I'm not a powershell guru

I've used this for my desktop - but not sure I want it running on a server. If they get hacked so does my company.
