Apache2 PHP5 timeout setting? You pointing WGET helped a lot - it has a default timeout of 900 seconds. wget -T allows the user to extend the duration before a timeout. Thank you ! |

Apache2 PHP5 timeout setting? The script is in PHP, I'm passing some arguments through the page address. It's browsing through 1 TB of picture files and creating categories and tags for each. Memory seems to be all right, I'm running Munin and it's barely starting to swap. |

How to install Ubuntu server on a Dell R210 with S100 raid controller The bug is explained here: bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/partman-base/+bug/569900 - to fix it, partitions have to be installed manually, with some space left on each disk. |

How to install Ubuntu server on a Dell R210 with S100 raid controller As Hubert said, I disabled the Raid option and created a software RAID during the installation. After first restart, I get an error message, saying mounting /dev/disk/by-uuid/[...] on /root failed. |

Storing media files on a different server Noted for RAID 1. There's only 500 GB of data, going to be 1 TB in 2 years supposedly. Also, the number of concurrent user for the internal tool might never cross 3. Once again, my budget is low and I'm trying to find the cheapest solution (while keeping data integrity and reliability). |

Looking for a Digital Asset Management Pier, how can I manage if the files are already on the server ? I don't really want to "import", just to mount so that Gallery2 can go through the folders. |

Looking for a Digital Asset Management Ideally the web server should be different from the server where the files are stored. On this server, the directories should not be modified and no thumbnail should be saved (this should be done on the webserver). |

Looking for a Digital Asset Management I have installed it and it's looking nice so far. However, I have a doubt about the logic - does Gallery2 create duplicate of all the images ? What I would like is to have the webserver running on a different server from where the files are located... |
