comment Errror on connecting to VPN-server by Demand-dial interface (Windows Server 2008 R2)
Though I use more specific settings (only PPTP, only MS-CHAPv2 etc) (tried default settings too).

comment Is there a network description language and a tool to render it visual?
A nice answer. Thank you. Though too low-level. I was thinking about something specifically meant for network diagramming. E.g. I describe every host (PC/router/server/printer/etc), every interface of theirs, every switch, every physical connection (including the media used), geography (which node is in which room/floor/building) as a separate record to get a reasonable looking printable graphical network documentation rendered.

comment Can Squid or other open-source proxy server be set up to process HTTPS encrypted traffic?
"but as a side effect, you cannot see if your bank has been hacked, or your connection intercepted elsewhere" - Indeed. A good remark. This is what actually stops me from actually using this and what makes this totally not an option for an office. I hope this is obvious for the most of the people thinking about using this.
