comment Boot Clonezilla with XenServer VM
In my post i clearly state that i have an image of the server that I want to move to virtual. My problem is that i can't boot Clonezilla on the Citrix XenServer VM... But I apreciate your alternative way of doing the actual clone, haven't thought of moving it over network. But in that sense, wouldn't I be able to do that with any other live CD?

comment Optimize Apache performance
@user16081 : On the backendserver, this morning I have added extra ram to total of 12GB, and added an extra CPU so it now has 2 physical 3Ghz Xeon Processors. Now the bottleneck and the current performance issues set aside, is there any recommendations for the webserver? Is the footprint ok? or a bit on the high side? I have been stripping down modules both on Apache and PHP. Would you recommend the worker MPM compared to the preform MPM?

comment Optimize Apache performance
@ChrisS : I understand your edit, and agree that FreeBSD is NOT linux ;) But for the case of optimizing Apache i think that would justify the Linux tag, as it would be the same on both OS. And there is a-heap-a-lot more people following the linux tag :)

@Toquonce : We're using a hosted firewall out of our MPLS network, it's a Fortigate. On the web server the ipfw service is running firewall.

@Fuzzyfelt : Really slow pageloads, people calling in to our callcenter complaining of on the general speed of the website. Haven't seen it myself or heard of any of the "too many connections" error messages though. Maybe in sync with my theory about our backend API i mention in the note in the post.

@user16081: I have added load on the web server during performance issues. The database is a MySQL hosted on the same server.

comment Apache PATH very long with duplicate entries
I'm having an issue with including a file in PHP, a language file in ZendFramework. The file is allready a whole lot smaller than on another server where the copied website originated. The file included returns an array(), as documented in example #5. But sometimes the include just returns int(1) as documented if there is nothing returned. If I pull random parts out of the returned array, it works.

Is cluster-m.mailcontrol.com your own smtp server or the receiving smtp server? Error #554 5.7.1 are usually relaying problems.

Use the Google recommended string, I guess it's recommended for a reason :)

Has this anything to do with the difference in MySQL?

No, it's a dedicated box running FreeBSD 8.2 as only OS

Is this just to set the timezone on the system? Because then it's the same as copying timezone files to /etc/localtime cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Copenhagen /etc/localtime

comment Changed root's shell to non-existing path
I have corrected the single user answer. Are you sure that the -r switch should be there? According to FreeBSD man mount this toggles read-only, and the w switch is read and write. A bit confusing.
