comment nginx logging to access.log.1 instead of access.log, logrotate failing?
@Xavier Ah, it is set to run weekly, but I got myself confused. I tried fixing it yesterday, but the problem surfaced overnight. I suppose I chose the day before the log was set to rotate to make the change, and because it changed last night, I assumed (without paying attention) that it was set to rotate nightly. I've updated my post to more accurately reflect what's going on.

Actually, it's not a policy issue. The policy is to allow gaming, and we want to do what we can to give the best service we can. After more investigation into the problem, we've found that the issue is not P2P after all.

@Cory Do you happen to know if P2P is used in setting up the game lobby? That's the place where it seems to start slowing down and timing out. I can't say as to how actual gameplay is because I can't get into any online games.

Unfortunately it is out of warranty and we no longer get updates... :(

comment Problems getting Cron to run processes tagged @reboot for LDAP users
@Dennis: Yes, that's what I did. To be honest, I don't know if the change I made was optimal or ideal (due to my limited understanding of Upstart), but it works. I'll post what I did to fix it once I get the chance.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I set cron to start after networking, and @reboot now works! Thanks!

That was actually one thing I was going to try, but I forgot to try it. Unfortunately, 9.10 starts cron using Upstart rather than System-V, and I can't figure out how Upstart works, despite my googling. Would you happen to know how to set Upstart to start cron after networking is up?
