Safely granting users apache/php access? You will probably get better responses on serverfault, I'm voting to move this over there. |

Alias a Virtual Directory or Application as Root on IIS 7 It's not that we need different domains from the same server, we actually want one to be the default 'root' page of the server, while not interrupting the use of the second app running on the server. The blog post you linked to does seem to hold the answer- I'll try implementing some of the ideas and let you know. The nice thing is we already have Rewrite 2.0 installed. |

How-to manage a MySQL table with over 2 million records The reason the USER_ELEMENT_ATTRIBUTE# are denormalized and wide in the table, is because they all pretty much get used. If they were used sparingly, I would probably have put them in their own lookup table. The application that uses them uses them the same way I have them laid out as generic information dumps based on user defined settings, but they are almost always utilized to about 40-45 columns, so its not quite as retarded as I feel it looks. |

Good Hosting Providers With Zend Framework Support The problem I've been having (and maybe it's because I'm pretty new to ZF) is that I can't change DocumentRoot to /whatever/public and I CANNOT seem to get my .htaccess correct and I can't get meaningful help from them in any way shape or form. |
