comment How to use robocopy and zip destination folders?
No, I can't find in-situ compression or de-duplication on the target storage system Tools. I didn't find any solutions that will do that for me.

comment Rsync and Lazy mode?
My worflow is : move files to a new file-system, a script check this new file-system, and make calculations based on those files. But I have to be sure I'm working on good files (generating source files can take few hours), and I can have to work on multi-files (I need to check I get all files before running calculations).

Ok, I can search for files that have been modified in the last 24 hours, from the current working directory and all subdirectories, by the following command: find . -ctime 0 -type f

Makes sense, but is there a way to define a time interval to checks each file in a given directory ? In my case, calculations are made on these files. Thanks

I can have big files after calculation, so it's probably better to use rsync (in case of networking trouble).

In some case, I have to run the same calculation again (and that why I end up with files with same name). You right, appending a run is a good idea : in find also the command mmv -a (I hope it's work in ssh mode, somebody already use this command line ?). I have control over how folder is named.
