About me

My name is Stefan Plattner. I was born and raised in Bozen/Bolzano, a small town in South Tyrol and a nice place in the north-east of Italy surrounded by beautiful mountains.

My computer addiction began in 1983 with my first computer, a Commodore VIC-20.


I graduated in Computer Sciences (Informatik) at the TU Vienna in Austria in 1994, came back to Italy in 1999.

I'm married and have two little kids. I'm a PC, but I own a Mac too. I speak German and Italian much better than English, but I hope it will get better posting here on Serverfault.
