Encrypted offsite backups - where to store the encryption key? The idea of having an attorney keep the key sounds preferable to me. Just for the record, the industry is health care, and our concern is to safeguard the privacy of clients. |

Encrypted offsite backups - where to store the encryption key? Threshold schemes sound like they have nice technical properties, but they would also complicate key management considerably. We are a relatively small organization, people come and go, and so I'm looking for more of a "set and forget" solution. |
