Unable to access NTPD server except on loopback address Centos 6 This was "spot on"! You rock. It works now. And, yes, I found docs on the ntpd restrict command and your suggestion to only open query is excellent. |

configuring vsftpd anonymous upload. Creates files but freezes at 0 bytes By the way, the Windows ftp client doesn't support the PASV or PASSIVE commands. So is this just a bug in the command line ftp? Or is there some way to make it work? We have users who will definitely be trying this and expecting it to work from Windows 7 command line. |

configuring vsftpd anonymous upload. Creates files but freezes at 0 bytes NathanG. Thanks for all this. I edited with some additional information. We found that this problem is isolated to occurring with a command line ftp on a Windows 7 machine. It works fine using clients from other Linux machines both inside and outside our router. It also works on the same Windows 7 machine from the Windows Explorer rather than the command line ftp. |

stunnel version 4.53 says SSL server needs a certificate on Windows 7 This ssl enables the client. The remote server is owned and run by a brokerage firm so I don't show what it runs and, well, how is that relevant? |

Route web browsing through a separate iterface Okay. I corrected the answer to show eth1 instead of eth0. Does that solve it? Is that all you need to understand? Or was something unclear or incorrect? |
