Linux NIC bonding on top of vlan interfaces? I like both ideas, but it's more of a "responsibility-domain" problem, in an environmented with separated System- and Network-engineering. As you already mentioned a STP-configuration problem on a Server could have bad impact on the network infrastructure. |

When updating the schema in OpenLDAP, should we reload the master or the slave first? BTW: I haven't asked if you're using slurpd or syncrepl for replication ... but it makes no difference therefore |

How to replicate apache mod_jk session data Tomcat appends the configured jvmRoute (for example the node-name) to the JSESSIONID, so this information is sent within the cookie in each request. Apache/mod_jk extracts this information and sends the request to the right backend node. |
