Installing SQL Server 2008 on Windows 7 64-bit Normally I dislike such answers, but unfortunately in this case you are right. |

Installing SQL Server 2008 on Windows 7 64-bit Nope, this is not the case, on regular Windows 7 (not some RC) both entries in registy are set to 1. So it is not the issue. |

Installing SQL Server 2008 on Windows 7 64-bit Irony is, I was able to install it with just slight problems, but since it was easy to google it, I didn't even care. Now I have to install it again, and I am dead stuck :-( |

Automatic storing package before installing it on .deb based system? Well, I cannot use remote repository, because I would need online connection to it -- think about rolling back package which establishes such connection. |

Automatic storing package before installing it on .deb based system? AFAIK, there is no guarantee this directory won't be erased in case -- for example -- the disk space is running out. And I need guarantee that the files will be kept, unless I explicitly delete them. |

How to disable redirecting between sites on the same IIS server? Thank you, the IP is indeed the same. I cannot assume B is always on (because from time to time I turn it off) and I cannot change the DNS, because site B has to stay where it is now. So, from what I see I need to create another default site which purpose will be displaying error pages -- it would serve as fallback for shutting down A or B. |

How to disable redirecting between sites on the same IIS server? Btw. inn my case each site has its own directory. So I should create additionaly another site (the default one) which purpose is just to show an error, right? If any of the sites, A or B, are down, the redirection will go to the default one. Did I understand you correctly? |

How to restrict access to web pages for HTTPS? I use IPv4 too. I set "allow IP" to some odd IP (not mine) and I cannot access http but I can access https without any problem. |

How to restrict access to web pages for HTTPS? Thank you, but I think there is a misunderstanding -- I have https already enabled, this is not the problem. The problem is that when I allow access ONLY from a given IP (single IP) it works for HTTP (and appropriate error page is displayed), but when I access web page directly (typing https myself) there is no error, and I get access regardless of the IP (client IP). |
