comment Windows 2008 R2 DHCP Question
You might also consider looking into clustering, if you have shared storage. 2008 R2 was supposed to have DHCP failover without traditional clustering but the RFC wasn't finished so it was dropped from the R2 release.

@Robert - I'm a little past that part of the discussion. It's just a personal preference more than anything. Our native Active Sync clients and blackberry users aren't required to have a pin. The policy is pretty much up to me and its not important to us.

That's kind of what I suspected. I'm hoping that a rooted device might be able to get around this.

comment How do you backup a storage server?
Well, I was referring to overhead in regards to capacity. RAID10 is smart for best redundancy of course, but I'd take RAID6 if performance wasn't as much of a requirement and if I could use the extra space for more snapshot area. The more snapshot you can afford, the less you'll need "backup" for file restores.

comment Microsoft Exchange Server - Fails to receive e-mail from 'yahoo.com' - HELO Vs EHLO
I'm pretty sure in the SMTP connector there is an option to take both EHLO and HELO,

If it were me, I would design the system with enough overhead or snapshot capability that I wouldn't have to go to the real backups unless it's a disaster.
