Fix for Ubuntu: apt-get update && apt-get install openssl libssl1.0.0 && service nginx restart; then, reissue your private keys

comment How do I set nginx's cache files to file permissions 777?
Hi @etherfish, thanks for following up. If NGX_FILE_DEFAULT_ACCESS is used, then why are the files 700?

@etherfish Thanks for your reply. I had originally tested the proxy_store_access setting and it didn't result in 777 for the cache files. Can you link the location in the source please? Also, I'm not invalidating to manage the size. I'm invalidating to create a system where no data is ever stale. So, as soon as the data is changed on the source server, it asynchronously communicates with the caching proxy to delete only that file. PS. You're not rude :-) That's Iain's job

comment Can I run a cron job more frequently than every minute?
Frequent-cron has worked well for us too and powers many of our production systems. We haven't ever had an issue with it.

comment Why are SSDs less tolerant than RAM to rewrite cycles?
@ErikA: Fair enough. For the record, I didn't assume that you didn't know. I said it sounds like it. I'm sure you've had your share of encounters with pretentious people.

What's with the attitude? Just explain how they're different instead of posting an answer that effectively says, "I'm too lazy to post the real answer." To be honest, it just sounds like you don't really know the answer. Please contribute if you can, but keep your "this is a stupid question" comments to yourself so other people don't have to discard them every time they try to find the real answer.
