Free tiered storage automation in linux? The slowest of the bunch is a 10TB Drobo in it's proprietary RAID6 equivalent, connected via eSATA to a PowerEdge R210. In the R210 is a pair of 2TB Seagate Barracuda XT in software RAID1 @ 6Gbps & a 32GB X25-E SSD @ 3Gbps. The R210 provides NFS to the master VM host, via directly connected dual 10Gb copper Intel 82598EB NICs. It's local storage is a 32GB X25-E @ 3Gbps + six 1TB Seagate Barracudas on PERC 6/i in RAID10 @ 3Gbps. A tower VM node/workstation on a 1Gb segment has two 150GB Seagate Cheetah 15k SAS on PERC 6 in RAID1 @ 3Gbps & a 64GB X25-E @ 3Gbps. |

What is the simpliest way to send myself email from a server? Postfix is usually overkill IMO, I use nullmailer to keep a minimal footprint. |

19" cabinet floor rail/slide system If you do choose one of these, I'll warn you of one thing I learned the hard way & that's to always use a vacuum not a blower to clean the track inside the enclosure. This to minimize the risk of getting grit in between the underside of the rack & the weight dispersion rail next to the vertical axis that it pivots on. The rail is plastic and is easily grooved under the weight of the rack which grinds bits of ziptie remnants into it. What once was smooth now looks like brake rotors. It still rotates fine, takes slightly more effort to move. 2 handed now, not just 1. :) |

What is a subnet calculator? Not so difficult to just answer the OP's question now, is it? |
