Ah - missed the check. I'll add that and see (the default url should be ok, but I've explicitly added one now anyway). Thank you.

comment Possible to add basic HTTP access authentication via HAProxy?
+1 Just wanted to add that you can also add the final lines in a frontend definition rather than backend if you want. And the realm xxxx part is optional.

Re the whitelist script: Theres iptables on line 8, and then $IPTABLES later on. Is it enough just to use iptables everywhere? Otherwise I suppose you'd need to assign something like IPTABLES=/sbin/iptables right?

It seems it returns both IP addresses assigned to the interface whether I use eth0 or eth0:0. If the order is guaranteed though, perhaps I can just select the right one from the string.

That's a real pity it's not supported by default on Debian and Ubuntu. I thought you were going to list some obsure distros :/

Yes, Xen VMs. I just ran the command in that linked question and see NUMA turned off.

Regarding NUMA - I'm afraid I don't know anything about this. It's a 64 bit Linode VPS instance. Is there any way I can check?
