Ubuntu GRE local ip address, wan ip of router, or ip of ubuntu server Ya I read that tutorial. It doesn't answer to my main question though. Wan IP or linux box ip in the local ip field. |

Ubuntu GRE local ip address, wan ip of router, or ip of ubuntu server @Zoredache Do you have links to good tutorials using IP rather than iptunnel? |

Tunnelling through a 3rd party firewall well, 1st - thanks for the totally unproductive comment. 2nd I am assuming that the firewall is not super restrictive. |

Is LDAP typically used in conjunction with SAP? Thank you for all the comments, I guess I should modify my question to :A Company relies on an Asset management product from SAP. If I wanted to provide a SaaS that shares space in their workflow, is it advisable to use the SAP product authentication service (if it exists). |

Cutting power to linux box. prevent filesystem checking on reboot (and hopefully damage!) hmm. what if I just leave it as is, let it do a file check on boot (but force it through any questions that would hang the system waiting for a response). If there isn't any applications that are writing anything except maybe temp files, then I shouldn't run into any problems should I? |

Lighttpd based server issues crop up when port forwarding I am wondering if the fact that the dns servers weren't setup on the linux (video encoders) boxes is the problem... |

Lighttpd based server issues crop up when port forwarding When your system is sitting in a forest 100km from nowhere, you don't have a choice (er well we could use satellite)!! I should add that the video stream over rtsp runs fine. |

Our security auditor is an idiot. How do I give him the information he wants? This position is at least the most reasonable first step. Tell him you would be breaking laws/rules/whatever by doing any of it, but that you appreciate his guile. |
