@gparent servername and servername.domainname.com DO resolve to the correct IP as expected, I just can't access shares from those two.

@gparent no, it completely resolves. Everything points to the same IP address. I just can't connect to file shares on some and I'm pretty sure NetBEUI died with server 2000 :P.

DNS resolves correctly.. Also, oddly enough, domainname.com which .resolves to that server also works correctly servername and servername.domainname.com do NOT work.
