Does this SQL Server license seem legit? Thank you Sergey -- I was just about to write another email to these folks but I'll read your linked info first. The ISV Run-Time license sounds almost exactly like what they're describing, except for the fact that we were charged separately for the SQL Server server license and CALs. |

Does this SQL Server license seem legit? I thought the sticker was funny too but to be totally fair he did tell me he was sending a burned copy, so he wasn't really trying to convince me this was a genuine DVD. Anyway I'll be happy if we somehow get the replacement cost for a real SQL license out of this -- but if there's any left over the beers will definitely be on me! |

Does this SQL Server license seem legit? Will do. In our last phone conversation my contact agreed to both ship our installation media and send contact info for their MS licensing rep, but so far I've seen neither. |

Does this SQL Server license seem legit? @TomTom It would be 4gb in our case as they say they don't support SQL2008 R2, but still I bet Express would serve her needs just fine for a while anyway. |

Does this SQL Server license seem legit? Unfortunately the choices are pretty limited and this product was one of the bright spots in the field. If I'd known about their use of sa before it was bought and paid for I would have had second thoughts but I'm afraid switching now isn't really a realistic option. She's hoping to open her doors next weekend. |

Does this SQL Server license seem legit? this is exactly the type of information I was looking for. I'm aware of the BSA but didn't want to play that card if there was some chance their explanations could be legitimate. Thanks so much! |

Does this SQL Server license seem legit? As far as I can tell instances of their Windows client all connect to the SQL server using the same hard-coded SA credentials. Per-user permissions are enforced only in their own stored procedure code. That aside, the client UI is generally well-designed, full-featured, and is not at all what I'd consider buggy. Ironically one of the main reasons for going with this product was its MSSQL backend, given my experience with configuring it and developing against it. |

Does this SQL Server license seem legit? And you're right, my title does imply I'm expecting more of a definitive answer than I really am -- I'll reword it. |

Does this SQL Server license seem legit? Thanks. I do plan to check with Microsoft licensing but this latest thing happened late this afternoon so I thought I'd try to get some feedback here while I stew about it over the weekend. |
