comment Memory usage by PID?
Will those 600MB already in use be locked as in not allowing any other resource to take it if those 600MB are not entirely in use but partially in use as it just requested that much of it but does not actually use it all ?

because that is not what I am looking for :) top will give me roughly the same information I can get out of ps auxf/mmap and that just doesn't tell me what I need to understand.

comment Memory usage by PID?
thanks for your answer, I have just this one application using java at all so is it safe to assume that for running a single application java is requiring me to give it 600MB out of my total memory ? does that also means it will be locked or something alike ? What else should I check to make sure of all this ?

comment redirecting ports, and allowing full access to the internet for the local network?
I appreciate it but this time all I really need is iptables and how to do it with it and find where the issue might be knowing it is within the firewall it self, I have also tried lowering the external interface MTU to 1280 and the rule iptables -I FORWARD -p tcp -m tcp --tcp-flags SYN,RST SYN -j TCPMSS --clamp-mss-to-pmtu. The main issue here is not that the rules are not working but something that is still limiting it from working fully as when I the give internal computer plugged direct on the internet.

Yes there are 3 lines to allow traffic in and out on the FORWARD.

those are all the rules I have, it works for allowing the local network to use the internet just fine. The problem I am having mainly is that not everyone can see the servers at 6112 and 1513 and if I plug the internet direct on that machine it will work just fine which leads me to firewall problems.

well I just want the tar.gz that I can use together with SlackBuild script, there is one in there but it is an older version and doesn't help me as it is bugged too.

@user57256 can you post your current virtualhost servername and serveralias configuration and if they are in different virtualhosts, if their documentroot is the same, so i can provide you with a more accurated answer ?

comment PHP unlink can't delete file while I can unlink this file in Linux shell
that is sort of weird because considering the chmod 644 which allows others to erase the file it should work fine even from the httpd server, can you update with the unlink error ? 500 is the user id and group you can type cat /etc/passwd |grep 500 on the console to check what username is it.

<?php echo getmyuid() . ' - ' . getmygid(); ?> what is the output ? I am guessing youre running your httpd server with antoher user that does not have access to the file.

While i did found the wiki good and informational i will have to read and search more about it to understand how to verify wether it is or not in promiscuous mode, like i said, i just started learning about it :) a more detailed information about my network is at serverfault.com/questions/190454/…
