comment Samba access works with IP address only
@SimonCatlin Probably depends on the versionof Samba being used, and certainly the need for the netbios ports is less necessary in 2013 with SMB2, but in 2009 needing those ports open was pretty common practice.

comment Router hardware / software supports MLPPP with 4+ interfaces
What the hell is with the down votes? The guy was clearly looking to do client-side mlppp.

comment JSP / Tomcat / Apache setup overview on Fedora Core
Note: Recent versions of Fedora do not include a default proxy_ajp.conf file. Instead, you need to make your own conf file in /etc/httpd/conf.d/ and give it a couple of lines like this: ProxyPass /myWebApp/ ajp://localhost:8009/myWebApp/

comment Mounting filesystem of VM from dom0 in XEN
It's possible the root partition of the domU is in an LVM partition. vgscan should pick that up if that is the case. You may also want to take a look at guestfish: libguestfs.org

comment Why should I use CentOS instead of Fedora
In fairness, Fedora is actually the upstream project to RHEL (according to Red Hat). Red Hat then takes a given release of Fedora and hardens it for Enterprise usage which is subsequently released as a new version of RHEL.
