MDT - Windows setup failing on attempting to open phantom folder The PE image has been recreated. I had some other issues which I eventually resolved, during the troubleshooting phase for those one of the steps I took was to recreate the PE image. |

MDT - Windows setup failing on attempting to open phantom folder I have only used it in SP1, the guy who was doing this before me started it pre-SP1, so it has been imported, validated, and saved many times in SP1 as I have been working with it. |

MDT - Windows setup failing on attempting to open phantom folder I didn't create the original so don't know which version the unattend was made in but I am using SP1 of ICE. There is definitely not a mapped drive in the image. Funny thing is, if I burn it all to an ISO outside of MDT, it installs perfectly fine, it only fails when trying to network deploy via MDT. MDT2010 doesn't officially support WES7 so it may be some obscurity in how it works that results in this strange error. |

MDT - Windows setup failing on attempting to open phantom folder That was the first place I looked. I have done a full in files search of the deployment share and the answer file and there is absolutely no mention of this directory that I can find. That's why it's so confusing! |

MDT - Windows setup failing on attempting to open phantom folder Nope, never found a solution. I'm currently trying to use Johan Arwidmark's custom build scripts to deploy the OS as a data image instead but am not having any luck there. Looks like we're stuck with old fashioned portable media! |

SQL Server suddenly using only a small portion of CPU This problem re-occurred today, turns out you were right. Soon as I turned off SQL Analysis in Spotlight, all our problems went away. Have changed you to answer. Irritating how a tool that is supposed to help you monitor your servers ends up breaking them! |
