My plan isn't to just make the changes elsewhere, its to determine how many objects are inconsistent on the other DCs. The tombstone period has past so really all we can do is remove this DC.

@LazyOne I did this and it seems to 404 so i checked if that was a custom errorpage that did the redirect, but no, its a normal html page that works fine.

@LazyOne I am full admin but there are no URL rewrites that I can see in either locations (no web.config and nothing in global config)

There isn't anything other than a few folders in the root (i.e. no web.config) and there isn't a /fr/ folder either. Never seen anything like this and I never set it up :(
