Pre-production systems engineer at an Internet privacy/identity protection company, building and maintaining servers (primarily Debian).
My home desktop (an iMac) triple-boots OSX/Ubuntu/WinXP. I run Easy Peasy (Ubuntu Netbook Remix) on my EeePC 900 and also have a MacBook Pro for work. My personal VPS runs Debian 5.0 stable (lenny).
Mostly I'm a Linux and Mac guy, but I'm really of a jack-of-all-trades who has used and maintained a variety of personal computers for more than 20 years.
I'm also something of a musician (I have a B.A. in Music); I play saxophones, clarinet, piano, and occasionally compose/arrange. Before I became a full-time admin, I worked as an editor for a sheet music publisher.
