comment How do I change default WHM nameservers?
Hi. Welcome to ServerFault. While some on ServerFault might be able to answer this question, unfortunately your question is off-topic, as it has to do with cPanel. Please take a look at serverfault.com/help/on-topic.

comment Getting “ssh_exchange_identification: read: Connection reset by peer” when trying to SSH a remote Ubuntu server
Note that Linode has been experiencing ongoing massive DDoS attacks since Christmas. Linodes in Atlanta have been more or less completely down since yesterday morning. Refer to status.linode.com.

comment Windows 7 Pro is unable to mount Synology Share
DSM is pretty old... are you able to update to DSM 5.2? Can you access the NAS via IP address with HTTP using a web browser from one of the Windows 7 machines? Have you double checked that Network Discovery is turned on?

comment Monitor outgoing web traffic sources on CentOS
Jason - First off, welcome to Server Fault. If you stick around, you'll find that there's a huge breadth of knowledge represented here, and tons of people willing to help you out with your systems administrator questions, as long as they fall in line with what's on topic (see serverfault.com/help/on-topic). Unfortunately, in addition to its duplicate nature (your server is compromised, period. Best thing to do is take it down, restore from backups, and review that link), the question is off topic because of cPanel. Please see the link I've provided in this comment to what's on topic.

I've actually read that elsewhere - you're absolutely right. Unfortunately, this particular answer didn't fix my particular need. To be fair, I didn't specify I had already tried that. Anyway, my issue is fixed, and I'll be following up shortly with my own detailed answer on a couple of different errors in my above code.

comment PHP unable to mail() in chroot though I can use sendmail inside chroot
I turned up the error_reporting value in the php-fpm config file (php_admin_value[error_reporting] = E_ALL) and I'm still not getting anything in the logs.

I get an 'ERROR' all right. That's a step in the right direction, anyway. Thanks for the tip.

comment php-fpm-5.6.2 and mod_vhost_alias ProxyPassMatch
I've been banging my head against the wall on this for over a week. Note that this method requires Apache 2.4.10 or above, so it isn't useful for default Apache 2.4.6 that comes in the CentOS 7 base repositories.

comment Apache 2.4 + PHP-FPM + ProxyPassMatch
I've been banging my head against the wall on this same problem for quite some time, and I have an extremely similar setup as yours. Would you please post your .htaccess Rewrite directives? From what I understand, everything in this answer is only what you have in your httpd.d/site.conf file.

comment chroot php-fpm process to user's home
That seems to have done the trick! ... sort of.... now I'm dealing with a "File not found" error, which others appear to have dealt with too. That's out of scope for this question. Thanks!
