comment What software can I use to create a private network between Windows Server 2012 boxes regardless of physical location?
Hmmm. I don't like the idea of having a host - single point of failure. Is there no way to do this peer to peer style? Or perhaps there is a way to have a fallback host?

So does one server have to act as the host, or can each server know about all the other servers in a group, kind of like peer to peer?

comment IIS 7.5 truncating POST body containing JSON data with ASP.NET MVC 3
This is supposedly fixed in 2008 R2 SP1 but this is not the case as I still experience this problem on that operating system.

comment Windows Firewall IP ban?
@Quandary I made a tool that scans the event viewer and auto-bans ip with enough audit failures. Download here: github.com/jjxtra/Windows-IP-Ban-Service

comment How to get rid of osdir.com efreedom.com and markmail.com?
Seems like all the sites listed in the title aggregate content legally. If you don't want them in your Google results, block them.

The 3rd party solution looks like it will be the best, thanks!

I've never used this, but I take it that all I would need is a linux server? Then I just point my domain hosts nameserver entries to this linux server once it's set up the way I want?

Do you have any experience with 3rd parties in this case? Or have you mostly managed this type of thing in house?
