comment Duplicate GET request from multiple IPs - can anyone explain this?
We've seen URLs that get tweeted shortly thereafter get hit by a dozen or two bots that monitor Twitter's status stream for links to compile analytics on them. Any possibility of this?

comment securing ec2 interinstance communication with ssh
1. Use a virtual private cloud. 2. Sure, that's the whole point of security groups.

comment Mailgun for receiving emails (rackspace)
For a newsletter you'd be better with a bulk e-mail solution like Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor. Mailgun's sending is more for "here's your password" - transactional e-mails to single recipients.

comment Is it worth it to do revision control/puppet/etc. on a single-server-setup?
One server now doesn't mean one server always.

comment UCC SSL certificate across multiple machines and IPs
Some UCC vendors license on a per-server basis, some require that the domains on the certificate be part of a single business unit, etc.

comment Google indexes both Amazon public dns and elastic ip
I wouldn't be surprised if Google mostly ignored the amazonaws.com domain for purposes of duplicate content. A canonical domain redirect never hurts, though.

client.com will receive the SEO benefit.

comment How can count subdomains of a domain?
No, that's not accurate - it'll only tell you about the ones Google knows about. There could be essentially infinitely many ones Google isn't aware of. Hell, they could have a wildcard subdomain. To accurately know the number of subdomains requires knowledge of the site's DNS setup - a third-party can't accurately figure this out.

I doubt it, as it's supposed to be exactly like vanilla Github as much as possible, but enterprise.github.com/contact.
