I'll check the exact Apache and mod_ssl versions when I get back to work tomorrow, but Apache is 2.2.something.

Thanks, that's encouraging. But what do you mean by "one way encryption"? Does that mean that it's outputting ciphertext encrypted using a session key, but not outputting the session key? Can you pastebin your chat with the Apache dev?

I'm also not clear on exactly what you're trying to do. Are you trying to launch an instance with an ssh key that you generated locally, or do you have an already-running instance that you're trying to install a second key onto?

scp does support -i. What command did you try to run and what's the output?

Depends on what you already have in your iptables configuration. On most distros everything is open by default. If you post the output of 'iptables -L' on your system I can tell you more.

comment Setting up Procmail Filtering for Spam on Postfix/Courier+MySQL Virtual Users
If you're determined to stick with procmail, what I've suggested is the best you're going to do. You're asking about a piece of software that hasn't been maintained in almost 10 years. It's inherently filesystem oriented. It can run arbitrary shell commands, which means you need some real user to run them as. A more modern replacement for procmail-like functionality, readily supporting virtual-user setups, is sieve. I'm not sure of the status of Courier's support for it, though. Though if you're not wedded to Courier, consider switching to Dovecot (my choice) or Cyrus.

comment Annoying ssh workflow
Which of the alternatives did you choose w.r.t. "You could put the ssh-add command in there too, but I recommend doing that manually so that you can keep your private key passphrase-encrypted"? And what was the output when that command ran?

Why, by the way, are you running the ssh-add command under sudo? Is there some reason that those keys aren't readable by the user you're running svn under?
