I see. That's a lot of help already. Thank you.

I do not know. I'm relatively unfamiliar with Bind administration. Could you please elaborate?

This sounds like a ServerFault question.

comment Custom motd for a specific user after logging in via SSH?
Indeed. I want to execute a script, not dump a text file to the screen.

comment Move a Subversion server with externals?
Just a note, I ended up not doing this at all. Turns out you have to modify checksums when the dump file is being created. It just wasn't worth the effort.

comment Make PHP FastCGI process write to a specific error log?
Note, this solution will not actually work for me since Lighttpd is only up to version 1.4.19 in Debian (Lenny). Using pipes for the error log is implemented in version 1.4.23 -- redmine.lighttpd.net/issues/show/296

Ah, okay. I will look into that. Thank you. You should roll that into your answer. I will go ahead and accept it, though, since the comment finishes it off.

Would you care to elaborate on your solution? I see that Lighty supports logging to STDERR, a file, and syslog.

I was hoping for an easier way, but this looks to be the only option :(

comment How do I remove IIS 7?
Well, before trying to uninstall it I did disable the service. It was still running. Now, I have to reinstall it to get the service listed in the services list.

comment Set xterm (PuTTY) window title when using screen?
Technically, this answers the question. It's just not the solution to my problem.

comment Set xterm (PuTTY) window title when using screen?
Nope. Just removed that and get the same result. I believe I am going to have to set an alias for screen that sets the window title and then launches the program. And then just give up on dynamic terminal titles while using screen. :(

comment Set xterm (PuTTY) window title when using screen?
I have determined that setting hardstatus alwayslastline as I do for screen prevents screen from setting the xterm title. Now if I can just figure out how to do both at the same time.

This is not working. I don't understand why.
