Jack of all trades in IT. Sysadmin, Network admin, developer and just about everything else in between and outside of those.

comment How can I know when a file was last read or accessed on Windows?
@Pacerier, I'm sure a malicious user could find a way to forge it. To catch that you would have to enable auditing and make sure those audit entries are being forwarded to an audit collection sever.

I would try to narrow it down to a single app by putting each of those older classic asp apps on it's own app pool. Then do what joeqwerty mentioned.

Which version of IIS? Is everything running in the same app pool?

comment Windows Server 2008 R2 Source-Initiated Event Log Forwarding: No Source Servers Reporting
This fixed it for me. Just having the fqdn didn't work until I added :5985/wsman/SubscriptionManager/WEC.

IP address conflict sounds like a good path to go down. Also might want to try removing the network adapter in device management and then rescan to add it again.

Ok, I get what you mean. Unfortunately I don't have a choice because of the way everything was setup 15 years ago. They won't let me put a patch panel in each room. Typical Government craziness.

Nice canned answer but it doesn't answer the question. How about from switch, under floor, up from under floor and directly to computer? I don't have the option of a wall connection.
