comment Remove Excel Add-In program installed by user from other windows account
@Ken White: Well, from the update, you are on the right track. My issue was only that there did not seem to be quite the clarity needed in order to get it closed/moved or answered. Just a comment to make people aware before putting a close vote down to think on it, people can get a bit trigger happy. ;-)

@fr33d0m: Thank you for the clarification, if the issue is how to run your batch file from another account, then that would be an issue for superuser.com probably. There is a possibility it could belong here, if it strays in to programming methodology for solving that issue. But probably not.

There are some people marking this as off-topic. It sounds like a question on how to programmatically uninstall, or request the uninstall of a previous version of an Excel add-in. That being the case it could be on-topic.

For others - screen is a unix command for running commands in a non-terminating away in a terminal that persists across logins.

comment sendmail: website and email on same domain/server
@Zed Said: Well that is a drastic solution, it's most likely a very simple change. Hopefully I've pointed you in the right direction, just needs a careful bit of Googling I would imagine. Learn the sendmail config.

Zed Said: Isn't the first non-comment, non-divert line the one in question? Or did you add that in?

@Zed Said: Well, I'm no sendmail guru - but it might be worth posting your sendmail.mc to the question.

comment sendmail: website and email on same domain/server
Zed Said: It's probably already in sendmail.mc (never edit sendmail.cf directly, there is an intermediate language and a utility, sendmailconfig that converts). I'm not 100%, but I think you might need to comment it out, as opposed to adding it. You can comment a line by putting dnl_ in front of it, _ = space.

I just gave cPanel as an example. In which case, investigate your local sendmail configuration. It most likely is setup to accept mail for your domain locally.

comment How does TCP Ping or Traceroute Work?
+1 But it does not have to send three, that is arbitrary and controllable, and it sends ICMP packets not UDP as a rule.

comment How to upload a large file in pieces to my server?
You need to give more information. SQL yes, but what platform. If FTP is not an option, what is? (ie. what upload mechanisms are available to you.)

comment Which kind of server should I rent for support 10,000 people online at the same time?
@arnorhs: With 6-7 SQL queries per access as stated above, then he is looking at a load of 1k PHP script accesses per second, as you state, and up to 7k SQL queries per second. So that's over 80 million hits per day and around 600 million SQL queries per day. I really hope his predictions are way over the mark. I believe Google gets about 400 million hits per day as a comparison.

comment Automated backup over FTPS? What is the best software to achieve this?
@Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams: He probably means FTPS. Or else has setup FileZilla Server for FTPS, thinking that is the same as SFTP that they use elsewhere.
