I'm an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at UC Berkeley, where I do research on cloud computing and parallel computing and I teach various undergraduate and graduate courses including Software Engineering (part of which is now offered as a MOOC at saas-class.org). I'm also a musical theater director and pit performer and the steward of a keel-billed toucan, who serves as my avatar because she's better looking than me.
