Yeah, that kludge really is a kludge right now. The more I expand my server collection, the less convenient it is to find and memorize random ports for each server's protocols (like FTP). If I can, I'll have to make my Apache config file have some basic redirection for FTP and stuff based on directories. Back to the grind. (Also, thanks for the detailed explanation, it was very useful.)
