comment Tools to automate windows server administration? Puppet?
I usually have a management server with the scripts on them. I then run them from this central location and the scripts all take a ComputerName parameter. There are various methods for executing remote commands under this. I usually just use WMI, but better options surely exist. PowerShell has invoke-command I believe which might do what you want on boxes with the proper configuration for wsman

comment How do I configure permissions for a cluster share using Powershell on 2008?
Also, to see the available properties to set, do this: Get-ClusterResource TestShare | Get-ClusterParameter | fl * and see if it yields a list of params and their current values.

Could you be looking for the Grant-ClusterAccess cmdlet instead?

Can we see your whole command line? Feel free to obfuscate the cluster name or whatever you'd like. Also, if you use the Get-ClusterParameter command what does it return (similarly obfuscated).

I'd say a quiet failure isn't a better result than a verbose failure when troubleshooting, but to each their own :)

comment Exchange 2007 Transport rule only works on SMTP
Secondly, if an NDR triggers instead of this rule (because the accounts have been removed), it would be helpful for you to post that as well (with the sensitive bits generalized).

Nic has a great point here. There's a possibility that the rule isn't triggering because the NK2 file has stored the legacy exchange address instead of SMTP.
